First Stop-Second Chance
Don't Trip the Previously Incarcerated... The more reentry and recovery resources available to an inmate released from prison through a truly integrated approach, the greater are his or her chance not to trip up along the way and return to prison. Transitional Resources for Individual Progress Will today be consumed by my love of God and humanity? Will I sell my time wisely or trade it for self-glorification and greed? The choice is mine alone. When tomorrow comes, and it will, today will be gone forever leaving something in its place of greater or lesser value. The choice is mine alone. At day’s end and the value measured, I want to look back and say, “I lived my day in the glory of the Lord. I left behind good, not evil and it was a better day for all I met.” The choice is mine alone, but I made it not alone, for God is with me. by John O'Malley
"The Choice is Mine alone"
This morning is the beginning of a new day and a new life to live. God has ordained this day for me to use, I can waste it or use it for good in his name. The choice is mine alone.
The choice is mine alone.

The Way Process... Manage the matching and services provided to ensure the efficient and effective coordination of activities associated with each previously incarcerated person's reentry into the community per their customized Transition Action Plan.
Match previously incarcerated people with a caring mentor, network of certified individuals, and support organizations/agencies which will provide needed transition services.
Monitor the previously incarcerated person's progress through their reentry journey and transition period; and per their Transition Action Plan, intervene to address undesirable behavior, issues of direction, and results. In addition, marginal service providers will be culled so as to maximize the effectiveness of the certified partner network.
